Find Funding is the online grant writing office of Katie Krueger and home to Find Funding Magazine, a resource for grant writers of all levels. Katie has worked as a grant writer since 2001, both as a consultant and a full-time employee. She has raised over $5 million in grant funding for clients, which include school districts, nonprofits, international non-governmental organizations, universities and technical colleges. She is a member of Association of Fundraising Professionals and American Association of Grant Professionals.
Katie is a self-taught grant writer who loves to help others learn the craft. She edits Find Funding Magazine, a website rich with information on grant writing. She teaches a community course, Find Funding: Introduction to Grant Writing, at the University of Wisconsin Union. She has presented at local, regional, and national meetings of the American Association of Grant Professionals. Her online grant writing class How to Write Winning Grants has helped students learn how to write grants for their own work.
In 2004, after serving as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Dakar, Senegal, Katie co-founded a nonprofit organization that promotes education in Senegal: Project Japalé Gouné. Through its lunch program, this organization feeds over 200 low-income students each week in Dakar, Senegal.
